The KitchenMan

Michael has over 25 years in the kitchen and bath industry. In his early career, he worked as an installer, cabinet and product representative. For the last 15 years, he has worked as a top designer here in Little Rock and surrounding areas.

It was in 1996, when a local FM radio station changed its format to talk radio that “The Kitchenman” was born. Using his experience as a disco DJ from his teens, Michael combined his years in the kitchen and bath industry to host a Saturday morning live call-in home improvement show. Michael can be heard every Saturday morning on KARN News Radio from 9-10 a.m. He uses his experience base as a designer, his early years as an installer and sales representative to enable him to answer a myriad of home improvement questions – and if he can’t answer your question, he knows how to find the answer. This is a philosophy that is used in the showroom on a daily basis.

In addition to radio, Michael is seen regularly on Channel 7’s "Good Morning Arkansas," where he has been a resident chef for the show since its inception in 2000. He designed the live kitchen set for the new program, and the producer knew that he liked to cook and asked him to be a guest cook on one of the first few episodes. The segment is called "Cooking with the Kitchenman." Michael likes to tailor his recipes for people who don’t want complicated recipes, but want them to look like it. He considers it “Easy Gourmet."
